We include removing the protective film in our instructions IF it is on the product. Not all of our products have film over the panel. It will be obvious if the film is present. If it is, remove it with your fingernail. Do not scratch or damage the panel trying to remove it.
Below is an image of a product with a film over the solar panel. As you can see the film is very visible.
